Pacific Fleet & Indian Navy Marines cross obstacle course within INDRA 2017 first ever joint exercise

Marines of the Pacific Fleet and the Indian Navy competed in groups to practise counterterrorism actions at the Gornostay training ground near Vladivostok within the framework of the INDRA-2017 bilateral tri-service exercise.

The counter-terror groups with standard weapons and equipment crossed a two-meter fence, brick wall, wire barriers, railway section. A part of the route passed through a tunnel, system of underground communications and moat filled with water. The route with 19 obstacles was 1200m long.

Marines of both countries conducted live-fire exercise with small arms and grenade launchers at different ranges.

As a result of the both exercises, the Pacific Fleet Marines scored a victory.
