Russian rescuers do their duty worldwide

The Smolensk air disaster has demonstrated perfect teamwork between Russian rescue workers and their colleagues from Poland, Yuri Brazhnikov, head of Russia's international department at the Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Relief, said in an exclusive interview with RIA Novosti following Saturday’s crash. A Tu-154 plane carrying a Polish delegation led by President Lech Kaczynski crashed on approaches to Smolensk airport. Yuri Brazhnikov also described future prospects and Russia’s new projects in emergency response.
