The finest examples of Russian porcelain are currently on display in the Vorobyovy Gory station of the Moscow Metro.
“This is such a beautiful place. We had been thinking about using the Vorobyovy Gory station for an art exhibition or a concert for a long time,” first deputy chief of the Moscow Metro, Alexander Yershov, said to RIA Novosti reporters.
During the six-month exhibit, passengers will be able to view these masterpieces through bullet-proof display cases.
According to Mr. Yershov, the metro stop will feature art exhibits on an ongoing basis. In six months, the porcelain show may be replaced with paintings or bronze work.
