A flashmob dedicated to the memory of Michael Jackson, who passed away on June 25, 2009, descended on Moscow. The King of Pop’s fans danced to Jackson’s “Thriller” in Arbat Street.
According to the flashmobbers, that track was specially chosen, because it is one of the singer’s most famous songs.
“Dresses, makeup, a lot of dancers. This looks really spectacular. This is the essence of the event: the dancers prepare for it beforehand, rehearse it, blend into the crowd and then suddenly start dancing, attracting attention,” Viktor Bulankin, who organizes events in the memory of Michael Jackson, told RIA Novosti.
He said that the pop star’s death sparked similar events all around the world.  The Moscow fan club first gathered and danced a year ago on the singer’s.
