The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides continues working on peaceful settlement of the conflict and providing comprehensive assistance to the people of the Syrian Arab Republic.

Despite the ceasefire regime being established throughout the country, the Russian-Iranian-Turkish Joint Coordination Centre has registered some cases of ceasefire violation by illegal armed formations in the provinces of Aleppo, Latakia and Daraa.

Measures are being to stabilize post-conflict situation in the capital region.

Syrian engineers trained by Russian specialists successfully fulfil their mine clearance mission in the Yarmouk former Palestinian refugee camp. Over the last 24 hours, they have checked 28 buildings to defuse 11 mines, four HE projectiles, and 32 improvised explosive devices.

Representatives of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides held a working meeting with leadership of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, Syrian security bodies, and heads of local authorities of Yalda, Babilla and Beit Sahm. They discussed medical aid provided to the people in need, delivering of drinking water, and process of granting amnesty to those who decided to return to peaceful life.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation has been monitoring reconstruction process in the settlement of Aftriss and Haush al-Shari to make a list of objects that are to be recovered in the first place, and to define scale of reconstruction works.

Situation in Hama and Homs provinces is being stabilized; people return to peaceful life.

The Daraa-Damascus-Homs-Hama-Aleppo road of the M5 highway that connects south and north of the country has been opened. There is a new driveway. Territories near the highway that had been earlier controlled by illegal armed formations have been cleared from mines.

Nine post-conflict settlement centers are functioning in the country. Over the last 24 hours, 72 people have been granted amnesty under the supervision of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation. They surrendered 12 pieces of small arms. In total, since 16 May, 33,317 people have been granted amnesty with 4,518 pieces of small arms.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation is working on improvement of humanitarian situation. Over the last 24 hours, the Russian Centre carried out charitable actions in the Asada and the Aleppo al-Shuhada School. At the end of the Ramadan fasting day, the Russian servicemen deployed field kitchens to provide people with hot meals and more than a ton of fresh-baked bread.

The Russian Centre also delivered humanitarian relief to the residents of Hayalin, Hama province, and Kafer-Batna, Damascus province. People received 1,400 food sets, 500 sets with the bare necessities and 750 liters of bottled water. The total weight of cargo has amounted to ten tons.

Russian military medics have provided medical assistance to more than 376 people, including 202 children.

Recovering of social infrastructure and establishment of peaceful life enables people to return back to their homes.

Over the past day, 231 people have returned to Homs province, and 143 people – to the Eastern Ghouta.

Measures taken by Russia, Turkey and Iran stabilize situation in the Idlib de-escalation zone; civilians return back to their homes in Aleppo province. Over the past day, 776 people with private properties have passed through the Tal-Sultan – Abu al-Duhur humanitarian corridor. Since May 31, in total 4,108 people and 757 pieces of equipment have passed through the humanitarian corridor.
