The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides continues working on peaceful settlement of the conflict and stabilization of humanitarian situation in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Despite the ceasefire regime being established throughout the country, the Russian-Iranian-Turkish Joint Coordination Centre has registered some cases of ceasefire violation by illegal armed formations in the provinces of Aleppo, Latakia and Daraa.

Measures are being taken by Syrian government jointly with the Russian side to stabilize post-conflict situation in the province of Damascus.

Syrian engineers trained by Russian specialists successfully fulfil their mine clearance mission. Over the last 24 hours, they have check 23 buildings in the settlements of the Eastern Ghouta and Eastern Qalamoun to defuse two mines, seven projectiles, and 28 improvised explosive devices.

Representatives of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides attended a session of the Syrian National Counterterrorism Committee where military and political situation in the country was discussed. The attendees also talked over cooperation between the Russian military police and the Syrian law enforcement bodies.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation has been monitoring reconstruction process in the settlement of Nashabiyah to define scale of reconstruction works for social infrastructure.

Due to improving humanitarian situation, 67,822 people have returned home in the Eastern Ghouta from refugee and IDP camps.

Situation in Hama and Homs provinces is being stabilized. Nine post-conflict settlement centers are functioning in the country. Over the last 24 hours, 114 people have been granted amnesty under the supervision of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation. They surrendered 307 pieces of small arms. In total, since 16 May, 33,245 people have been granted amnesty with 4,506 pieces of small arms.

Syrian mine-clearing groups have checked the Talbiseh-Zaafarana road and north outskirts of al-Rastan. Over the past day, they have defused 30 mines and six improvised explosive devices.

Russian military police organizes observation posts in the settlements of al-Rastan, Talbiseh, and Kharet-Tukman to prevent provocations and other illegal actions.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation is working on improvement of humanitarian situation in other region of Syria as well.

Over the last 24 hours, the Russian Centre carried out charitable actions in the Asada and the Aleppo Alfatad al-Arabia School. At the end of the Ramadan fasting day, the Russian servicemen deployed field kitchens to provide people with hot meals.

Russian military medics have provided medical assistance to more than 250 people, including 160 children.

Recovering of social infrastructure and establishment of peaceful life enables people to return back to their homes.

Over the past day, 207 people have returned to Homs province, and 137 people – to the Eastern Ghouta.

Measures taken by Russia, Turkey and Iran stabilize situation in the Idlib de-escalation zone; civilians return back to their homes in Aleppo province. Over the past day, 795 people with private properties have passed through the Tal-Sultan – Abu al-Duhur humanitarian corridor. Since May 31, in total 3,332 people and 629 pieces of equipment have passed through the humanitarian corridor.
