The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides continues working on peaceful settlement of the conflict, reconciliation of opposing sides and stabilizing humanitarian situation in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Despite ceasefire regime being established throughout the country, some cases of ceasefire violation by illegal armed formations have been registered in the provinces of Aleppo, Latakia and Daraa.

Situation in the suburbs of Damascus is being stabilised; people are returning to peaceful life.

The Syrian engineers trained by the Russian specialists are ensuring security for the civilians and social-economic infrastructure.

They have checked three buildings in the settlement of al-Nasriyah, the Eastern Qalamoun, to defuse four projectiles and one improvised explosive device.

Representatives of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation have been monitoring situation in the settlements of Haush al-Sahiyah, al-Mohammadiyah, Haush-Qubayat and Uttayah to define scale of reconstruction work.

Measures are being taken by Syrian government jointly with the the Russian side to stabilize situation in the provinces of Homs and Hama.

Road services are working to recover the al-Rastan-Talbiseh section of the M5 highway. They build road safety barriers, lamp posts and move away construction debris.

The Centre for Post-Conflict Settlement is functioning in the Homs de-escalation zone.

Over the past 24 hours, 2,931 people have been granted amnesty. They surrendered 12 pieces of small arms to the Syrian security services. In total since 16 May, 26,940 people have passed this proceeding, surrendering 4,090 pieces of small arms.

Russian military police organize observation posts in the settlements of al-Rastan, Kafer-Laha, Talbiseh, Zaafarana, Haret-Tuqman and Asiri-Qarabesi to prevent provocations and illegal actions.

Russia exerts any effort to facilitate social and economic development in Syria.

Representatives of the Russian leading universities held talks in the Syrian Ministry of Education with high school graduates who seek to study in Russia. There are doctors, engineers, agriculturists and Russian teachers among high-demand professions.

After graduation they will be able to work on recovering their motherland.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation is above all focused to improve humanitarian situation, provide medical aid to the people in need and meet priority needs of people in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Over the last 24 hours, the Russian Centre carried out humanitarian actions in the settlements of Halabiyah, Aleppo province, al-Qantara-Shimali, Homs province and Hiyarat-Danoun, Damascus province. People received 1350 food sets, medical supplies and items of the bare necessities. The total weight of cargo has amounted to seven tons.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation held charitable actions in the Asad Moscque and schools in Aleppo. At the end of the Ramadan fasting-day, the Russian servicemen deployed field kitchens to provide people with 300 portions of hot meals and more than a ton of fresh-baked bread.

Russian military medics have provided medical assistance to more than 214 people, including 96 children.

The Syrian government is cooperating with the Russian Centre for Reconciliation to create conditions so that people to return back to their homes.

Over the past day, 201 people have returned to Homs province, and 121 people – to the Eastern Ghouta.
