The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides continues working on peaceful settlement of the conflict and providing comprehensive aid to people in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Meanwhile, there have been some cases of ceasefire violation by illegal armed formations in the provinces of Aleppo, Idlib, Latakia, Hama, Damascus and Daraa.

Measures are taken to improve humanitarian situation in the Eastern Qalamoun.

Six houses were cleared up in the settlement of Rukheiba. Two improvised explosive devices were found and defused.

Situation in the Eastern Ghouta is stabilizing. Peaceful life is being recovered in the region.

Living houses are being cleared up from mines and ammo in the city of Douma. Streets are being cleared from rubbles by special equipment; housing and utilities infrastructure is being restored. Over the last 24 hours, 18 houses and their territories have been cleared up. In total, 17 explosive devices have been defused.

Due to comprehensive support 65,097 citizens of the Eastern Ghouta have returned to their homes from camps for refugees and temporary displaced persons.

Situation is being stabilized in eastern quarters of the Yarmouk region south of Damascus that had been controlled by illegal armed groups. Law enforcement bodies of the Syrian Arab Republic and units of the Russian military police are cooperating to prevent provocations and ensure the safety of civilians in the settlements of Yalda, Babilla and Bayt-Sahm.

The Russian side conducts humanitarian events in other regions of Syria as well.

It is the fifth day as the Russian Centre for Reconciliation and Russian military police is departing militants with their families from the Homs de-escalation zone. Over the last 24 hours, 1,866 people have passed through the check point near al-Rastan. They left the area by buses escorted by the security service cars, SARC ambulances, and reached Qalaat al-Mudiq, the Idlib de-escalation zone.

In order to increase through-flow rate, an additional humanitarian corridor with a checkpoint at al-Qantara-Mudiq has been opened yesterday; 2,348 militants with families have already passed through it to reach north Hama province.

In total, 13,582 militants with their families left the Homs de-escalation zone since May 7.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation is above all focused on stabilizing the humanitarian situation, providing medical assistance to the people in need and meeting the priority needs of citizens.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation delivered humanitarian aid to the settlement of Ein-Terma, Damascus province. People received 445 food sets, bottled water and items of the bare necessities. The total weight of humanitarian cargo has amounted to 12 tons.

A humanitarian action took place in the settlement of Deir-Kak, Aleppo province, where people received more than a ton of fresh-baked bread.

Russian military medics provided medical assistance to 105 Syrians, including 64 children.

The reconstruction of the destroyed social infrastructure and the establishment of peaceful life in the Syrian provinces enable people to return back to their former homes.

Over the past day, 207 people have returned to Homs province, and 132 – to the Eastern Ghouta.

The Russian Centre is registering the number of citizens leaving Tell Rifaat de-escalation zone for Membij, Aleppo province. Over the last 24 hours, 601 people with personal properties have left the area.
