Reconciliation of the opposing sides and stabilizing humanitarian situation in the Syrian Arab Republic, implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 2401 remain the main lines of action of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of the opposing sides in Syria.

However, the 30-day ceasefire regime by Resolution 2401 on Syrian territory is constantly violated by illegal armed groups in the provinces of Aleppo, Latakia, Damascus and the Eastern Ghouta.

So, residential districts in Damascus and its suburbs were attacked by eight mortar shelling assualts over the past day. At the same time, 64 mines were fired. There are destruction and civilian casualties.

The humanitarian operation is underway in the Eastern Ghouta.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation monitors compliance with  to humanitarian pause by opposing sides. It was established for the fifth time in the Eastern Ghouta from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m., as well as observance o measures to ensure the safe exit for civilians, the evacuation of sick and wounded through the humanitarian corridor in the area of Muhayam al-Waffedin.

It is the fifth day, when civilians of the Eastern Ghouta receive information about the coordinates of the humanitarian corridor. All the necessary infrastructure is prepared for their reception. However, the armed groups operating in the area blocks the access to the humanitarian corridor. Therefore civilians again have not managed to leave the Eastern Ghouta.
