Tuesday, 07 August 2018 10:52

The Russian side jointly with the Syrian government continue implementation of post-conflict measures in the Syrian provinces.

Military medics have provided medical assistance to 10 people, including seven children over the past day.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides held a meeting of National Reconcilation Comiteen in Idlib de-escalation zone.

In the result of the meeting 5 ceasefire agreements with settlements of al-Khader, Hwayer, Osmaniya, Tell Bajr and Khan Tuman in the province of Aleppo were signed. Also, results of humanitarian action at Kafr Akkar village were summed up and humanitarians actions at Umm Karamel and Umm Tina are to be held in the future.

Despite the ceasefire regime being established throughout the country, there are still cases of ceasefire regime violation by illegal armed formations in the Idlib de-escalation zone.

Over the past day, terrorists mortared Safsara (two times) and Mamukhia (three times), Latakia province, the Shakhba and al-Zakhra (three times) districts of Aleppo.

Militants attack civilian districts primarily at night and it could lead to a heavy toll on civillians. By a lucky accident over the last 24 hours there were no injuries among civillians.

According to the info received by Centre for Reconciliation in provinces of Idlib and Hama leaders of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and Jabhat Tahrir Suriya groups arrested dozens of Syrian opposition members. Leaders of radical groups are seeking to stop settling out process in Idlib de-escalation zone and trying to fail peaceful negotiations between warring parties.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides urges leaders of illegal armed formations operating  in the Idlib de-escalation zone to cease hostilities and move towards peaceful settlement of the situation in areas they occupy.
