Monday, 06 August 2018 10:52

Reconciliation of opposing sides and stabilization of humanitarian situation are the main vectors in political settlement of the crisis in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Representatives of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation carried out a humanitarian action in the settlement of Khusham, Deir ez-Zor province. People received 650 food sets with a total weight of 2.8 tons.

In the Tariq-Gasan and Tariq Tall-Shakhib quarters of Aleppo, people received a ton of bread.

Military medics have provided medical assistance to 11 people, including four children over the past day.

In total, since the Russian Centre for Reconciliation started settlement process, it carried out 1,886 humanitarian actions. The total weight of humanitarian cargo delivered amounts to 2,880.76 tons.

Despite the ceasefire regime being established throughout the country, there are still cases of ceasefire regime violation by illegal armed formations in the Idlib de-escalation zone.

Over the past day, terrorists attacked Safsara (two times), Latakia province, the Maqanis al-Duwayri (three times) districts and R&D Centre of Aleppo.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides urges leaders of illegal armed formations operating  in the Idlib de-escalation zone to cease hostilities and move towards peaceful settlement of the situation in areas they occupy.
