Peaceful settlement of the conflict and rendering of comprehensive assistance are the main vectors of work in the Syrian Arab Republic.

There are favourable conditions in most areas of the Syrian Arab Republic that enable people to return back to their homes.

Due to taken measures, 73,539 people have returned back to the Eastern Ghouta from refugee and IDPs camps. Over the past day, 96 people have returned back to their former places of residence.

Russian military medics have provided medical assistance to more than nine people, including four children over the past day.

Representatives of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria jointly with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent hand over people in Douma, Eastern Ghouta, with humanitarian relief provided by France in accordance with agreements reached in St. Petersburg on May 24 by Presidents of Russia and France on implementation of joint humanitarion operation to Syrian people.

Over the last day, 1,446 families from the city of Douma received 3,840 blankets, 572 kitchen utensils for 5 persons (spoons, forks).

In accordance with the agreements reached under the auspices of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides, armed opposition groups are being disarmed in the Southwest de-escalation zone Over the past day, militants surrendered a howitzer, a mortar, two heavy machine guns, small arms and ammunition of various calibres and types.

Despite measures taken to stabilise situation, the Russian-Iranian-Turkish Joint Coordination Centre has registered some cases of ceasefire regime violation by illegal armed formations in the Idlib de-escalation zone.

Over the past day, terrorists have intensified mortar and artillery attacks. There are 14 cases ceasefire violation against the following settlements: Arafit (two cases), Safsafa (two cases), Sandrin (two cases) and Rouset, Latakia province; Zalaqiyat, Hama province; and the Maqanis al-Duwayri (three cases) and Hara (three cases) districts of Aleppo city. Over the past week, there were 44 cases of ceasefire violation by illegal armed groups operating in the Idlib de-escalation zone.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides urges leaders of illegal armed formations operating  in the Idlib de-escalation zone to cease hostilities and move towards peaceful settlement of the situation in areas they occupy.
