Reconciliation of opposing sides and stabilization of humanitarian situation are the most topical tasks for settlement of the crisis in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Despite the ceasefire regime being established throughout the country, the Russian-Iranian-Turkish Joint Coordination Centre has registered some cases of ceasefire violation by illegal armed formations in the provinces of Aleppo, Latakia and Daraa.

Measures are being taken improve humanitarian situation in Damascus and its suburbs.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation has monitored situation in the settlement of Douma to define scope of reconstruction work. A hospital and infirmary are available for the citizens. Three bakeries function in the city. Local authorities jointly with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent organize delivery of food, water, madical assistance to the civilians.

Syrian engineers trained by Russian specialists successfully fulfil their mine clearance mission in the Eastern Ghouta. Over the last 24 hours, they have checked 19 buildings in Douma to defuse 6 mines, 4 projectiles, and 17 improvised explosive devices.

Situation in Hama and Homs provinces is being stabilized by th Russian side jointly with the Syrian government.

Syrian specialists overhaul high-voltage power lines in the settlements of Zaafarana, Deir-Fur and Iziddin, Homs province.

An engineering unit detected and defused 13 mines and seven improvised explosive devices in the northern part of Umm-Sharshuh.

Russian military police organizes observation posts to prevent provocations and register refugees returning to the settlements of Kharet-Tukman, al-Rastan and Talbiseh.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation is working on improvement of humanitarian situation in other region of Syria as well.

Over the last 24 hours, the Russian Centre carried out a charitable action in the Asada Mosque. At the end of the Ramadan fasting day, the Russian servicemen deployed field kitchens to provide people with hot meals and food sets.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation held charitable actions in the settlement of Bannan (al-Mualimin, al-Jebel, Balalat districts), Aleppo province. People received food sets with a total weight of up to 100kg, and more than a ton of fresh-baked bread.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides organized a humanitarian action at the People's Hall in Homs. Personell of the Russian MP battalion and representatives of Homs authorities attended the event. People in need received 1,000 boxes of food sets with a total weight of four tons.

An orphanage at the Seid-Naya Convent, Damascus province,  received humanitarian aid. Orphans received toys, stationary and food sets with a total weight of 720kg.

Russian military medics have provided medical assistance to more than eight people, including five children.

Recovering of social infrastructure and establishment of peaceful life enables people to return back to their homes.

Over the past day, 107 people have returned to Homs province.
