On the Roundtable on Deepening India-Russia Partnership: Exploring New Vistas

On April 6, 2017, Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) organized a Roundtable on “Deepening India-Russia Partnership: Exploring New Vistas” to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Russia and India.

Charge d’Affaires of the Russian Embassy Anatoly Kargapolov, RIS Chairman, former Permanent Representative of India to the UN Ambassador Hardeep S. Puri, former Ambassador of India to Russia P.S.Raghavan, UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in India Mr Yuri Afanasyev and other prominent diplomats, experts and journalists were among the attendees.

The event focused on various aspects of bilateral strategic political, military, trade and economic relations, science and technology, infrastructure investments, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
