Vladimir Putin will make an official visit to India on December 11

The President of Russia will make an official visit to the Republic of India on December 11, on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation. During the talks with Indian partners in New Delhi, it is planned to discuss further strengthening multidimensional Russian-Indian cooperation, including issues of increasing mutual trade and investments, and deepening cooperation in nuclear energy, with focus on developing mutually beneficial projects in innovation and high-tech. Current issues on the international agenda, including in the context of deepening mutual coordination within multilateral organisations like the UN, SCO and BRICS, will also be discussed. Following the meeting, the parties are expected to issue a joint statement and sign a whole package of bilateral documents.
