Coming into force of the current Constitution in 1950 heralded the beginning of rise of the modern India. Since then your nation has made a great way, marked by impressive success in social, economic, scientific and technological spheres, gained high authority in the world arena.
I note with satisfaction the dynamic development of Russian-Indian relations, which stepped up to the level of special and privileged strategic partnership. I am convinced that through our joint efforts we will ensure further expansion of the whole spectrum of mutually beneficial bilateral ties and constructive cooperation in international affairs.
I wish good health, happiness and new success to you, and wellbeing and prosperity to the people of friendly India.
