Delhi Felicitates Russian Ambassador

On completion of 25 years as Diplomat in India - Russian Diplomacy at its Best : Jolly

Delhi Study Group led by President Mr. Vijay Jolly organized a public reception in Delhi to honor & felicitate veteran Russian Ambassador in India Mr. Alexander M. Kadakin on his completion of 25 Years as a diplomat in India.

Mr. Kadakin was presented a shawl, flowers, trophy & citation for his decade long services to promote Indo – Russian Friendship and people to people contacts between the two countries. Mayor of South Delhi Smt. Sarita Chaudhary, Mayor of North Delhi Master Azad Singh & Deputy Mayor of East Delhi Shri. Mahender Kumar Ahuja ttended the program and welcomed the diplomat with bouquets. Smt. Lalita Nijhawan prominent business lady leader of the capital compered the program. The program was attended by Ambassador from 30 countries. DSG Vice President Pravesh Verma tied a turban (pagari) on the head of Ambassador on behalf of Delhi Village folks.

Speaking on the occasion Delhi Study Group President & Ex. Delhi MLA Mr. Vijay Jolly stated that “MR. KADAKIN REPRESENTED RUSSIAN DIPLOMACY AT ITS BEST IN INDIA”. He is a true son of the Russian soil. Indo –Russian Friendship got a boost and bilateral relations strengthened in the field of science, technology, space, education, military hardware & two way trade between the nations during his tenure. Delhi Study Group as a prominent NGO of India is proud to felicitate & honor the Russian scholar diplomat friend who speaks fluent Hindi, English, French, Urdu, Romanian & Russian languages.

The Russian Ambassador Mr. Alexander M. Kadakin recollected his golden 25 years service as a diplomat in India. I am proud of my motherland Russia & its close friendly relations with India. Emotionally Mr. Kadakin narrated his close relations with various former Indian Prime Ministers & his intense love for India. He profusely thanked BJP leader & Delhi Study Group President Mr. Vijay Jolly & termed him as a close friend of Russia in India.

Delhi Study Group also showcased a photo exhibition of Mr. Kadakin interacting with great Indian leaders like Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, Late Morarji Desai, Late Rajiv Gandhi, Late Narsimha Rao, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Lal Krishna Advani, Dr. Manmohan Singh etc. during his long innings in India.

The program was attended by civic councilors, elected state MLAs & prominent citizens. Sh. Manohar Lal Kumar President Delhi Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha presented a copy of Hindu religious scripture Geeta & a statue of Radha Krishna to the Ambassador.
