DPS School Teachers Excel in Their Skill in Teaching Russian Language at RCSC

 A group of nine teachers from different DPS Schools excelled in their skill in teaching Russian language at the conclusion of their one-month training in the beginners’ course at a function organised at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) in New Delhi on June 15, 2012.

The course, started last month, jointly organized by the Russian Language Teachers’ Training Centre of the RCSC, Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Delhi Public School Society, was meant for teachers who had expressed their desire to learn the language without any prior knowledge of it. In the following month, the teachers will have the distant education through internet and teaching aids provided by the Training Centre.

The participants of the function comprised Prof. Ramadhikari Kumar, President, INDAPRYAL, Mr. Sergey Karmalito, Senior Counsellor, Embassy of the Russian Federation in India, Mr. Fyodor A. Rozovskiy, Director, RCSC, Ms. Tatiana E. Perova, Head of the Russian Language Teachers’ Training Centre, Ms. Tatyana Shipilova, Director, Institute of Russian Language, RCSC, and Ms. Yelena Palitskaya, Associate Professor, Centre of International Education, Lomonosov Moscow State University.

 

Through the model classes conducted before the colleagues treating them as students, the teachers demonstrated their skill in teaching as expert teachers in Russian language. They also recited Russian poetry, staged short plays, etc. In all, the teachers’ presentation turned to be a clear manifestation of a total involvement in Russian with precise diction, pronunciation, phonetics, etc., imbibing them in real spirit.

The teachers’ performance was duly vouched by Prof. Ramadhikari Kumar. Both Ms. Tatiana E. Perova and Ms. Yelena Palitskaya acknowledged the dedication, perseverance, expertise and commitment of teachers in acquiring the skill in teaching Russian in so short a time. Mr. Fyodor Rozovskiy presented Certificates, Souvenirs and Russian Language books to the teachers in due recognition to their performance.
