Indo-Russian Children’s Art Festival

The Children’s Art Festival entitled “Poetry—Eternal Source of Inspiration”, dedicated to the World Poetry Day, was held at a colourful function, jointly organised by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC), Russian Embassy School in New Delhi and the D.P.S. Dwarka on April 4, 2012.

The young and budding talents from Russia and India showed their skill through the poetry-oriented presentations attracting the absorbing interest of audience.

The items performed by children comprised poetry recitation, music, ballet, programme based on painting, Kathak dance, Bharatnatyam dance, playing musical instruments, etc.

The students of the School of Russian Classical Ballet performed episodes from the world-known ballets “Sleeping Beauty”, “Nutcracker”, “Stone Flower” on the occasion.

Mr. Fedor A.  Rozovskiy, Director, RCSC, was present at the function, attended by a large gathering. Ms. Olgla Titaeva, Piano Teacher, RCSC, guided the children in their presentations.
