Parichay Sahitya Parishad honoured writers at Silver jubilee

Parichay Sahitya Parishad felicitated selected Russian and Indian writers, journalists for their contribution to the promotion of Indo-Russian relations and presented them with momentos, flowers and shawls, on the occasion of the celebration of its Silver Jubilee at a colourful function, jointly organised by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) and Parichay Sahitya Parishad.

The function, chaired by Dr. Madan Lal Madhu on March 30, 2012, outstanding Hindi writer and poet, had the participation of noted Hindi poets, writers, critics, novelists and journalists, particularly the Chief Guest Shri Udai Pratap Singh, Ms. Urmil Satyabhushan, President, Parichay Sahitya Parishad, Dr. Raj Buddhi Raja, Dr. Dinesh Mishra, Mr. Lakshmi Shankar Vajpai, Smt. Mamata Kiran, and others. The function was attended by a large gathering.

Mr. Fyodor A. Rozovskiy, Director, RCSC, Ms. Yelena S. Shtapkina, Deputy Director (Culture & Information), RCSC, Ms. Olga Nikushkina, Correspondent, Russia & India Report, Mr. Harish Joshi, Ast. Director, RCSC, and Mr. S. V. Nair, Media Advisor, RCSC, received Parichay Maitri Samman.

The Satya Srijan Shikhar Samman was given to Dr. Sher Jang Garg, Satya Srijan Samman to Dr. Vivek Mishra, Parichay Samman to Mr. Munavvar Sarhadi, Parichay Sahachar Samman to Mr. Lakshmi Shankar Vajpai and Smt. Mamata Kiran, Parichay Media Samman to Mr. Mukesh Gambhir, Media Internet Samman to Mr. Shailesh Bharatwashi and Sahityik Vrit Chitra Samman to Mr. Pradeep Jain.
