Art Exhibition “Inspiration” by Russian women

     Art Exhibition “Inspiration” by Russian Women An Art Exhibition entitled “INSPIRATION” by Russian women living in India was inaugurated at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) on March 5.

The exhibition was organized jointly with the Delhi Association of Russian Compatriots to mark the International Women’s Day. The exhibition will be on from 10. 00 a.m. to 6. 30 p. m .in the premises of the RCSC until March 16, 2011, except Saturday and Sunday.

The Russian women, whose artistic works on display at the exhibition, are L. Chakrabarti, E. Pokrovskaya, K. Singh, V. Pronina, N. Ronanova-Kravchenko, S. Kushwaha and A. Kalugina. Congratulating the women artists, Mr. Fyodor A. Rozovskiy, Director, RCSC, lauded their initiative and spirit which produced notable works for the art-lovers, essentially symbolic of bilateral cultural tie-up. L. Chakrabarti and V. Prinina were unanimous in sharing their impressions in their artistic creations.

It was a unique experience in drawing inspiration from the culture and traditions in India as well as the landmark architects and landscapes, they pointed out.
