H.E. Mr Nikolay R. Kudashev, Ambassador of Russia to India, started his speech with expressing condolences on the demise of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India, and announced a minute of silence. The head of the Russian mission stressed an important role of flights between Moscow and New Delhi in strengthening ties not only between the two countries but between their peoples as well. “They say that there is no flying without wings. Luckily, we have Aeroflot Russian Airlines, whose strong wings made of steel continuously enable us to bring Russian-Indian special and privileged strategic partnership to new heights”, the Ambassador said.
