The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides continues working on peaceful settlement of the conflict and providing comprehensive assistance to people in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Despite the ceasefire regime being established throughout the country, the Russian-Iranian-Turkish Joint Coordination Centre has registered some cases of ceasefire violation by illegal armed formations in the provinces of Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Latakia and Daraa.

Measures are being taken by Syrian government jointly with the Russian side to stabilize post-conflict situation in the province of Damascus.

Representatives of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation attended a session of the National Counterterrorism Committee of the Syrian Arab Republic to discuss military and political situation in the country, and cooperation between Russian and Syrian law enforcement bodies.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation has monitored situation in the settlement of Arbin. Trade has been recovered in the city; two pharmacies are available for the civilians. Two bakeries have been reconstructed. People are provided with medical aid, a hospital is available in the city. Local authorities jointly with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent organize delivery of food and drinking water to the civilians.

Syrian engineers trained by Russian specialists successfully fulfil their mine clearance mission in the Eastern Ghouta. Over the last 24 hours, they have checked 20 buildings in Douma to defuse three mines, four projectiles, and 17 improvised explosive devices.

Due to improving humanitarian situation, 68,665 people have returned home in the Eastern Ghouta from refugee and IDP camps.

Situation in Hama and Homs provinces is being stabilized.

Syrian specialists overhaul high-voltage power lines in the settlements of Zaafarana, Deir-Fur and Iziddin, Homs province.

An engineering unit detected and defused 35 mines and 21 improvised explosive devices in the eastern part of Kafer-Lakha.

Russian military police organizes observation posts to prevent provocations and register refugees returning to the settlements of al-Rastan and Talbiseh.

Syrian security forces timely received information about an ammo depot in the eastern part of Umm-Sharhsuh. The government forces seized an anti-tank guided missile, three reactive shaped charge mines, 52 hand anti-tank grenade launchers and over 8,500 pieces of ammunition.

The Russian Centre for Reconciliation is working on improvement of humanitarian situation in other region of Syria as well.

Over the last 24 hours, the Russian Centre carried out charitable actions in the Asada Mosque and the Aleppo Alfoun al-Arshrah School. At the end of the Ramadan fasting day, the Russian servicemen deployed field kitchens to provide people with hot meals and more than a ton of fresh-baked bread.

Families of servicemen killed in combat actions received humanitarian aid in the settlement of Hysainiyah, southern outskirts of Homs. Widows were provided with clothes, items of the bare necessities and food sets.

Russian military medics have provided medical assistance to more than 98 people, including 76 children.

Recovering of social infrastructure and establishment of peaceful life enables people to return back to their homes.

Over the past day, 184 people have returned to Homs province, and 103 people – to the Eastern Ghouta.
